What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Because the ceremony begins promptly at (TBA) we recommend you aim to arrive by (TBA) pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time.

What does "Black-Tie Encouraged" mean?
“Black-Tie Encouraged” means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress istea. Generally, a black-tie encouraged dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It’s therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their overall attire.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
Darker hues, such as black, navy, and charcoal, or deeper jewel tones, like emerald and red, are preferred.

Can I bring a date?
We will only be able to accommodat those listed on your invitaton. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Are children welcome?
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. While we love all the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we don’t want any phones in our photos!

What should I expect at the event?
There will be open bar as well as appetizer and dinner service at the event. The ceremony and dinner will be held indoors and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so please plan accordingly.

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?
We will be running a shuttle from the venue to the hotel/villa’s listed on our “Travel & Stay” page starting at (TBA) pm and also running again at (TBA) am and (TBA): am. More details to come on this as we get close to event!

What currency is used in Portugal?
The currency in Portugal is the euro. Each euro is divided into 100 cents. When you're buying currency for Portugal, look out for the currency code EUR.
